The South African Medical Students Association (SAMSA) is a student body association consisting of medical students from medical schools across the country. SAMSA members exhibit a passion for both medicine and making a positive impact in both South African and global communities.
Furthermore, the association aims to create a network of medical students that support and encourage each other to carry out tasks that extend beyond the scope of their respective universities. In essence, SAMSA is an organisation run by medical students to offer assistance to other medical students and the community at large.
